East Cobb Kitchen Renovation
Elbow Room for Chef
Location: East Cobb
The kitchen in this East Cobb home was old and poorly designed, and not at all conducive to entertaining extended family and friends. For example, the layout created a traffic flow that placed guests right in the middle of the work space. That needed to change.
Moving a doorway improved the flow substantially, allowing more “elbow room” for food and beverage prep and a more practical layout for the space. The client’s vision for an elegant traditional look was brought to life by Atlanta kitchen designer Matthew Quinn who selected the striking material palette to create this one of a kind design. The reclaimed wood beams continue into the vaulted family room to visually tie the rooms together.
