Atlanta-based MOSAIC Group [Architects and Remodelers] won first and third places for the Best Covered Deck in the North American Deck and Railing Association’s annual competition. NADRA is composed of deck builders, manufacturers, dealers/distributors, wholesalers, retailers and service providers to the deck and railing industry. The association emphasizes safe building practices and deck safety.
“MOSAIC Group’s winning entry is a true outdoor living space,” said Co-owner Rick Goldstein, a registered architect. “Our goal was to make a visual connection between the home and the view to the pool. The covered deck also provides space to escape from the sun’s rays on a hot Georgia day.”
The covered deck includes a dedicated space for grilling, a countertop area with stools that serves as a pass-through from the kitchen, and ample space for watching TV or interacting with friends and family.
MOSAIC Group [Architects and Remodelers] is a design/build firm with Indoor and Outdoor Living Divisions. It is co-owned by William Fadul.
