Buckhead Porch and Deck Addition

The Challenge
The client wanted to add a porch to the rear of the Atlanta home to take advantage of a beautiful Buckhead riverfront location. This project was a bit more complex than most due to the extremely challenging lot that sloped at a severe angle away from the house. Also the very contemporary architectural style of the home had to be factored into the design plan so the entire exterior would be uniform.
The Solution
Our design expanded the existing deck and created a bridge to the new porch. The porch stands independent from the house, like a private treehouse peering across the wooded lot overlooking the river. The beautiful new structure completes the rear of the house, replacing a noticeable “void” with a functional outdoor living space.
