The Challenge
This is a unique Atlanta area property overlooking a rushing waterfall on a heavily wooded and steeply sloped site. The clients wanted to maintain views of the waterfall from inside their Sandy Springs home while creating a beautiful new deck that overlooks the falls.
The Solution
A multilevel deck that steps downwards and reaches toward the waterfall. Careful attention to materials, color and detail help to create a Zen-like outdoor living environment. Curved built-in benches invite one to stay awhile and relax. The black, aluminum balusters blend with the tree trunks for an almost transparent effect.
