From when I was a child, my mother used to have me tell her which tchotchkes looked best on the table and how they should be arranged, so I was trained early on to look at color, balance, and style.  That training stuck and I’m always conscious of it, so no matter whether I’m watching a movie or shopping in a retail store, I notice the backdrop more than the action in front of me.  As a designer, I enjoy guiding clients down the path of creating a new space that is functional as well as aesthetically pleasing and works perfectly for their needs and style.  When not designing, I enjoy thrifting and taking my dog Bodhi on new-smelling adventures!
