These Virginia transplants wanted to upgrade the outside of their Marietta home to downplay the Mansard roofline by adding a portico, dormers and more natural light in the foyer. In addition, since their new house is on the golf course, they needed a parking pavilion to protect their teenage drivers from stray golf balls.
