The Challenge

This large basement was mostly unfinished, with a bit of finished, builder-grade space. It was a blank slate just waiting to be transformed into a haven for the entire family’s delight—a symphony of dreams that included a playful sanctuary for the kids, a sophisticated retreat for the adults to host gatherings, and an arena for the golf enthusiast to hone his skills. To swing a golf club in the basement, however, we needed to maximize the ceiling height while reconfiguring the mechanical systems in the ceiling. Budgeting was a factor because of how large this basement was, so we worked closely with our client to align their budget parameters with exactly what they wanted to accomplish.

The Solution

We opened several walls to make their new spaces cozy and created a seamless flow ensuring there was a kid’s zone, an adult zone, and a golf zone. We were able to create the perfect space for each purpose. In response to their yearning for a refined haven for adult gatherings, we crafted an elegant, sophisticated bar area, setting the stage for unforgettable evenings of fun and entertainment. The kid’s zone includes a game room and a play space, promising endless joy and excitement. As for the golf aficionado, we carved out a realm of dreams, blending both a putting green and a state-of-the-art golf simulator, fostering the perfect environment for honing skills and perfecting swings. We completed this large-scale remodel on budget and the homeowners’ joy knows no bounds, as they delight in this oasis of fun and sophistication.
