Bernie moved to the Atlanta area in 2001 from Cuba. He started a custom carpentry business specializing in high-end, unique residential and commercial shelving and furniture projects. He also built highly detailed, architectural models of Las Vegas casinos and national hotels. In 2003, Bernie met Rick and became a Deck Wright independent contractor for the next 10 years. He later joined MOSAIC as a full-time handyman and carpenter in 2014. Bernie is now responsible for prepping homes prior to a job-start, installing specialty hardware and accessories and custom carpentry jobs.
