Honoring the Landscape

The Challenge
This active Atlanta family was not able to use a good portion of their yard due to a pronounced slope. They envisioned an outdoor living room that would extend their home into the landscape and provide for more enjoyment of the private Alpharetta lot.
The Solution
Our solution gave the family a multi-level deck that became their backyard. We created three distinctly separate spaces. Built-in benches allow for an intimate conversation area, another area is dedicated to outdoor dining and the third space makes room for informal gatherings. The shape of the deck was designed to fit within the existing trees and plants around this Alpharetta home.
