The Challenge
These Sandy Springs homeowners sought to repurpose an under-utilized library space and an outdated bathroom into a new primary bathroom with modern amenities.
The Solution
A sunken floor was raised to be level with the primary bedroom, and the dated masonry fireplace was removed to make the space more functional. We created a stunning focal element by placing a free-standing tub in front of the large picture window that overlooks the couple’s well-tended exterior gardens. A separate water closet and large shower round out the new space. The hanging towel warmer provides coziness on a cold winter day.
