The Challenge
Our client’s sought to refinish and update the terrace level of their house. Space was more than adequate, but not being used to its best potential. By reclaiming this space, they felt that they would be able to expand their family, host visiting relatives and remain in their house for much longer.
The Solution
We updated two bathrooms and bedrooms on the terrace level for family visits, providing them with a private space when needed. In addition, an adult entertainment space with a wet bar was designed to work with the flow to and from the outdoor pool. A large kids playroom with tons of storage for a growing toy collection was included, as well as a secret play space underneath the stairs. Our plan made sure to leave a large area for storage and enclosed utilities room.
