Form, Function, and a Touch of Gold

Location: East Cobb

The Challenge

The original kitchen layout featured a dysfunctional work triangle. The sink and cooktop were positioned too closely together, while the refrigerator and ovens were placed inconveniently far from the main prep zone. Our client also needed improved organization, flow, and functionality throughout the space.

The Solution

The kitchen was reimagined with a larger, multifunctional island that allowed the sink and cooktop to be separated, resulting in a more efficient workflow. The refrigerator was relocated closer to the sink to improve movement between zones, and storage was enhanced with appliance garages and a hidden workstation.

Two striking stone slabs with blue and gold veining were used to top the island, complementing the cabinetry and fixtures. Smart features were incorporated, including a telescoping downdraft behind the cooktop, a custom tilt-down drawer for remote controls, and a pop-up outlet to meet code requirements.

This was the third remodel completed for our client, and it was, once again, a wonderful experience!
