Atlanta Condo Remodeling
Fusion On The 12th Floor
Location: Midtown Atlanta
The Challenge
The outdated Midtown Atlanta condo on the 12th floor needed everything remodeled, including a new kitchen and primary bath. The objective was to maximize the gorgeous Atlanta skyline views in the main living area, but working in a high-rise where mechanicals are set in concrete and venting is shared made the overall design complicated. Furthering the challenge, we were asked to meld two very different styles: traditional and contemporary.
The Solution
The design solution for this couple was to remove every wall on the main floor, except for the concrete structural supports, and remodel the space with an open concept. With a combination of warm wood floors throughout and elements such as a cable wire staircase, the couple was able to create a very fresh, inviting space.
