On The Boards
We started here with a builder-grade townhome that was going to be a remodel project since the day the home was purchased by the current owners. The main floor was choppy and did not flow very well, and the traditional style of the home did not match the modern aesthetic style of the homeowners. The solution was a total reinterpretation and reorganization of the space. The kitchen was placed in a more prominent location that could now interact with the living and dining spaces more naturally, and the two previous living rooms were combined into a single, larger room without columns that is now more conducive to entertaining. The style of the space was modernized to reflect the homeowner’s individual taste, complete with custom fabricated walnut cabinetry and a linear fireplace.
