Revived Elegance

Location: Dunwoody

The Challenge

This 1970’s home had small and partitioned rooms on the main floor. The home was dated. The family room was small, while the office was very large. The powder room off the kitchen further accentuated the old and dated layout. The homeowner had many goals and wishes as we embarked on a collaborative journey for this remodel. We were ready to give new life to this home.

The Solution

The MOSAIC team revamped and reconfigured the whole first floor in its entirety. To make the family room more livable, we adjusted its boundaries, creating a smaller office to make room for a larger and more open living area. We creatively moved the powder room to the rear of the kitchen where the laundry room was and moved the laundry room upstairs. An expansive mudroom also materialized near the powder room. Even though this was during the height of COVID, we created an entirely new, open, and modern, first floor. This full customization matched exactly with the homeowner’s goals, even during the pandemic. Our clients love their new space (and so do we)!
