The existing deck was physically and visually disconnected from the pool and patio at this Johns Creek home. A shade pavilion was desperately needed to provide relief to pool-goers and double as an outdoor room that could be enjoyed during inclement weather.
The Solution
The new covered porch is a wonderful mix of rustic and elegant. The stone fireplace in this outdoor living space acts as a focal element, while also providing privacy from the adjacent neighbor. Perfectly positioned overlooking the pool, this outdoor room has become the family’s go-to place to lounge and watch sports. And with a built-in stone counter, they have plenty of room to serve meals and snacks.
