The Challenge
The one thing this stately East Cobb home was lacking was outdoor living space, despite the untapped potential of a large rear yard. And given the architectural sophistication of the home and the complexity of the roof lines, the bar was set high for design.
The Solution
The design team, including two architects, thrilled the client with a dramatic cathedral style porch tucked into the home such that tall French doors open out from both the family and dining rooms. A two-story stone fireplace with a grill station notched in on the backside, Tigerwood flooring, cypress ceiling and a mountain-creek water feature just outside the porch would make North Georgia proud of this metro Atlanta home!
