The Challenge
The client’s painted cedar deck had long passed its useful life and was in need of total replacement. The deck at this Sandy Springs home extended the entire length of the home, so close attention had to be paid to create a seamless design.
The Solution
We created three separate outdoor living spaces. The screened porch brings the “outdoors in” with a double-sided fireplace and skylights. An open-air deck offers a great area for entertaining, and a pool cabana, complete with a finished ceiling system, makes an afternoon in the pool feel even more luxurious. Strategically placed outdoor lighting sets off the whole environment and adds warmth to this Atlanta home.
