Atlanta-based MOSAIC Group [Architects and Remodelers] has been named a winner in the annual Professional RemodelerDesign Awards contest, presented by Professional Remodeler magazine. MOSAIC Group won Silver Awards in the Kitchen Over $100,000 and Residential Specialty categories.
The Professional Remodeler Design Awards is a national contest that recognizes outstanding remodeling projects in 20 categories. Entries are judged on construction quality, overall design, creativity, problem-solving and value. Awards are determined by a panel of four industry expert judges.
The winning kitchen is the anchor of a whole house remodel in Sandy Springs. “The family wanted a family-friendly environment where they also could entertain,” said William Fadul, co-owner of MOSAIC Group. “The kitchen is amply detailed, open and sophisticated. It fits the family’s lifestyle, yet still pays homage to the home’s rich history.”
The residential specialty item is located in a house that was built in the late 1960s. “The unique countertop is constructed of solid walnut,” said Co-owner and Architect Rick Goldstein. “Our talented cabinetmaker curved the wood to reflect the architect’s design. The back wall is covered by handmade one-of-a-kind tile.”
Professional Remodeler is a trade magazine and website serving the top remodeling firms in the country. The magazine is published by SGC Horizon, a division of Scranton Gillette Communications, and serves an audience of more than 83,771 residential remodeling firms.
