Collier Hills Addition

Bright and Transitional

Location: Collier Hills

The Challenge

A tree falling on this Collier Hills house precipitated the decision to not only repair the damages but build an addition. The home started as a 1,000 square foot, two bed, two bath home and was in much need of some additional space. After meeting with the client we presented several options to help determine whether to build up or out. Ultimately the client chose to keep with the style of the area and build out into their backyard. To achieve this large amounts of dirt had to be moved and new retaining walls built.

The Solution

The end result added a much needed 600 square feet to the house. The addition included a primary suite, walk-in closet and laundry room. We also updated the guest bathroom to keep with the style of this renovation. To increase the appeal of the mainly living space we also removed the wall separating the living room from the kitchen. This helped to create a better flow for the main living area of the house.  This is another great example of how our indoor and outdoor team can collobrate to facilitate the completion of any project.
