Atlanta-Home-Improvement-2009-12-KitchenThe kitchen of this historic Brookhaven home used to be small, isolated and unwelcoming. The homeowner wanted to revamp the outdated kitchen, increasing comfort and making the space more efficient while maintaining its classic design.

The clever redesign allowed this kitchen 25 percent more storage space than before. Soapstone countertops and heart-pine flooring sustain the vintage aesthetics of this updated, classic home.
