MOSAIC Group [Architects and Remodelers], a metro Atlanta design/build company, partnered with Agape Youth and Family Center, a non-profit organization, on their recent “Extreme Bedroom Makeover” project. During the one-day event, MOSAIC team members remodeled a bedroom for two boys in the Bolton Road community in Northwest Atlanta.
Rooms To Go provided new bunk beds and mattresses for the project, and Rosing Paint Center donated paint and supplies. The Paint Doctor provided professional painting services.
MOSAIC team members accessorized the room with items that reflect the children’s interests, including a framed piece of artwork by the older brother. In addition to contributing other furnishings, the company donated coloring books, drawing pads, crayons and building blocks.
Agape Youth and Family Center serves a community that includes more than 2,000 school-age children from under-served families. The center provides after-school programs and family services that focus on academic achievement, character development, reading proficiency by third grade, high school graduation and post-graduation planning and placement.
