The Challenge

This in-town bungalow had a backyard with great “potential.”  All it needed was a bit of creativity, a clear vision and a lot of elbow grease.  An under-utilized backyard craved to be something special.  With the addition of a covered Porch, an outdoor kitchen and a pool, this backyard went from blah to extraordinary.

The Solution

The narrow, postage stamp lot needed to be designed with extreme efficiency, respecting the lot and house from where it emanated. The Porch and pool fit seamlessly into the landscape and help to extend the living space of the house into the backyard.  This outdoor oasis is both simple and elegant, and helped this family navigate the pandemic with sheer enjoyment.
