The Challenge

The existing second-floor layout limited the functionality and flow of the bedrooms and bathrooms, with outdated door configurations, undersized or inefficient closets, and finishes that no longer supported the homeowners’ needs. The primary suite in particular lacked the dedicated storage and thoughtfully designed bathroom space desired, while the shared Jack and Jill bathroom required a more functional configuration for the bedrooms it served.

The Solution

The second floor was thoughtfully reconfigured to improve flow, functionality, and everyday comfort throughout the space. New door locations and framing created a more efficient connection between the bedrooms, closets, and bathrooms, while a new Jack and Jill bathroom and expanded primary bath introduced updated layouts, custom storage opportunities, and elevated finishes. New hardwood flooring and matching trim were seamlessly integrated throughout, while porcelain tile, quartz surfaces, frameless glass, updated plumbing fixtures, and layered lighting brought a fresh, cohesive look to the renovated spaces. The primary suite was further enhanced with a new walk-in closet, custom closet system, and redesigned bath, creating a more functional and comfortable retreat.
