The Art of Transformation

Location: Buckhead

The Challenge

Built in the 1980s, this Buckhead home was modern for its time but was ripe for a fresh, new lease on life. The homeowners envisioned a sleek, modern home that was both high-end and artistically one-of-a-kind. However, the existing layout posed significant challenges – small, compartmentalized spaces created a choppy flow, and an isolated kitchen limited both function and connection. A fireplace wall segregated the main living area, preventing the open-concept feel they desired. To bring their vision to life, a complete reimagining of the home was required.

The Solution

Some “out of the box” creative ideas unlocked possibilities the homeowners had never considered. The entire home was transformed into a seamless blend of modern elegance and functionality. The den became a stylish indoor-outdoor screened porch, while the front entrance was reimagined with striking garage doors, an arched portico, and a sleek new entry. Inside, a luxurious wet room was added to the primary bath, a new pantry and library were created, and the stairway was redesigned. The guest and primary suites were reconfigured for better flow, and the basement was converted into a private retreat for their daughter. Every detail was meticulously crafted to achieve a one-of-a-kind, artistic aesthetic.
